Realness. So, for those of you that do not personally know me, which would be 99% of you (Hi Mom!), you would not know that I frequently struggle with making a fucking decision. It’s annoying. My sister-in-law likes to refer to it as Analysis Paralysis. Last year when I started this blog, I wanted to have a blog that resembled what blogs originally looked like before they became so monetized and every blog post was a sponsored ad.
But then I stopped.
I started to compare my posts to post of professional bloggers who have a staff of employees and major sponsors and I defaulted to my normal reaction, Analysis Paralysis. BUT, the more I
have thought about it, the more I really wanted to pick it back up with the OG concept.
I’m busy. I’m a wife. I have three kids. Two puppies. A full-time job. President of my HOA. PTA Chair. You get it.
But the blog is a way to interact with people about some of the things I love which are fashion, makeup, finance, momming and just the craziness that is life. This blog is a way to help those out there that are just as busy (or busier) than I am. It’s a way to say, this worked for me, maybe it can help you, too. The blog is a way to let others know that you are not alone. Hey, sometimes my house is a wreck and my kids are being total assholes but I am going to sit on the couch and have a glass of wine….. and that’s OK.
I love to talk so why not put it out there? My grandma always used to say, “If you had a stamp on your ass, you’d be a traveling newspaper”. So why would I stop doing something I enjoy? I’m not. I’m going to release my FOWOT (I know…. but it’s a thing…Google it). I am really freaking pumped about what this blog has the potential to offer.
So here’s the deal.
I am going to keep posting and will link what I can, but if it comes from a place I cannot link (think Poshmark, Marshalls, etc) then I will just list where I bought it. It’s still inspiration and information. Is that not the point of a blog?

My super amazing, wine-obsessed, beautiful, witty, sister-in-law is becoming the other half of this blog!! And the crowd goes wild!!! I am sooooooooo excited! As similar as we
are, we are so different. She is single, no kids and her style could be described as Kentucky Derby meets Kate Spade (RIP). She is going to bring a WHOLE new side to this blog and between the two of us, we should have you covered!
